This English text is provided for convenience. Where it differs from the Spanish version, the Spanish version is the one that governs.
These terms apply to products ordered through megits.com. Services we deliver under a separate signed agreement are governed by that agreement, not by this page. Our Terms of Use cover the use of the website itself.
We sell principally to organisations. If you are ordering in the course of a business, trade or profession you are a business customer, and the consumer rights described below — in particular the right of withdrawal — do not apply to you.
If you are ordering as an individual outside any business activity you are a consumer, and nothing in these terms removes the rights Spanish and EU consumer law gives you.
Most of what we sell is supplied digitally: software licences, subscriptions, and support plans. The product page states what is included and for how long.
Prices are shown in the currency you have selected. The euro price is the definitive one; other currencies are a conversion shown for convenience and may differ slightly from what your payment provider applies.
VAT: [ PENDING — to be completed: whether prices are shown with or without VAT, and how VAT is applied to Spanish, EU and non-EU customers. ] The tax that applies to your order is calculated and shown before you confirm it, and it appears on your invoice.
We may change prices at any time. The price that applies to your order is the one shown when you place it.
Ordering follows these steps:
The contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation by email. If we cannot accept the order we will tell you and refund any payment in full.
We file the order electronically and you can request a copy at any time by writing to info@megits.com. Orders can be placed in English or Spanish.
You can pay by card through Stripe, with PayPal, or by bank transfer. Payment is taken at the time of the order unless the product page says otherwise. We never see or store your full card details; those go directly to the payment provider.
If you pay by bank transfer, we send you the account details and a reference when you place the order, and the order is confirmed once the transfer reaches our account.
Digital products are made available as soon as payment is confirmed, normally within a few minutes. Licence keys, download links or account access are sent to the email address on the order.
If anything physical is supplied, the delivery time and cost are shown before you confirm the order.
If you are a consumer you may withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days of the order, without giving a reason. Write to info@megits.com saying that you wish to withdraw. We will refund you within 14 days of receiving that notice, using the same payment method.
The one exception: where a digital product is made available to you immediately, you lose the right of withdrawal once supply has begun — but only if you asked for it to begin straight away and acknowledged that you were giving up that right. We ask for both at checkout, explicitly, before you confirm.
This right does not apply to business customers.
Everything we supply must match its description and work as it should. If it does not, tell us and we will put it right by repairing, replacing or updating it, or by refunding you where that is not possible.
For consumers these are legal rights under Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 and the EU directives on the supply of digital content and the sale of goods. They run for the period the law sets — for goods, three years from delivery; for digital content supplied over a period, for as long as that period lasts. They are in addition to anything a manufacturer's own guarantee gives you.
Where a product is sold as a subscription, the product page states the term and what it costs to renew. We will tell you before a renewal is charged, and you can cancel at any time before that point by writing to us. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the period you are in unless the law requires it.
Write to info@megits.com, or to the registered office above. We answer complaints within one month.
If you are a consumer and we cannot resolve it between us, you may take the matter to the consumer arbitration system in Spain — the Junta Arbitral de Consumo of your autonomous community — or to the consumer authorities of the region where you live.
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes with business customers fall to the courts of Málaga, Spain. If you are a consumer you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings there.
We may change these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it, and the date at the top of this page tells you when it last changed.
