This English text is provided for convenience. Where it differs from the Spanish version, the Spanish version is the one that governs.
This page explains the cookies and similar technologies used on megits.com, and how to control them. Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser.
When you first arrive, a banner asks which categories you accept. Accepting and rejecting are offered side by side, and nothing outside the essential category is set until you choose.
You can change your mind at any time: the Cookie settings link at the foot of every page brings the banner back, and whatever you choose there replaces your earlier answer. Withdrawing is meant to be no harder than agreeing was.
The site uses Google Consent Mode, which is set to deny analytics and advertising storage by default and only relaxes that if you accept.
These make the site work and cannot be switched off. They store no advertising or tracking identifiers.
| Purpose | Detail |
|---|---|
| Session | Keeps your session while you move between pages. |
| Security | A token that protects forms against cross-site request forgery. |
| Your cookie choice | Remembers which categories you accepted, so we stop asking. |
| Language | Remembers whether you are reading the site in English or Spanish. |
We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are read, how people arrive and where they leave. Until you accept this category nothing is stored on your device: Google Consent Mode holds analytics storage denied, so at most a cookieless signal is sent that cannot be linked to you or to any later visit.
If you accept, two cookies are set:
| _ga | Tells one browser apart from another. Expires after two years. |
| _ga_<property> | Keeps a single visit together. Expires after two years. |
Both hold a randomly generated number, not your name, your email address or anything you typed into a form. We read the results as totals — pages, sources, countries — never as individuals.
Google processes this for us as our data processor. We have turned off Google Signals and advertising personalisation, so the data is not added to any advertising profile, is not used to follow you across other websites, and is not used by Google for its own purposes. We do not sell it and we do not pass it to anyone else. Measurement data is deleted after fourteen months.
We do not run advertising or retargeting on this site, and nothing in this category is set.
Our contact page can display a Google map to help you find our office. The map only loads if you click "Load map". At that point your browser connects to Google, which may set its own cookies under its privacy policy.
We link to our LinkedIn page. Following that link takes you to LinkedIn, where their terms apply. Simply seeing the link sets nothing.
Every major browser lets you see, block and delete cookies from its settings. Blocking essential cookies will stop parts of this site working, including the contact forms.
